Phalanx

Overview

Phalanx are Cabal defensive units that carry large energy shields in place of standard weapons, and can expand the shield to cover allies. Shooting the glowing icon at the shield's centre deactivates it and briefly stuns the Phalanx; suppressor grenades do the same. Red Legion Phalanx have jump jets, leaving vulnerable spots on their backs. Their melee attacks are powerful. Variants include Loyalist, Nightmare and Totality Phalanx.
