Pirate Hideout: The Beast Tamer

Storm Alaaks, the Beast Tamer's Hideout and claim a lost relic.

Overview

Pirate Hideout activities were the weekly Arena-style missions of Season of Plunder (Season 18, 2022), playable by 1-3 players. They are part of the seasonal quest Sails of the Shipstealer and launch from the H.E.L.M. map in the Director; each week of the season unlocked a new hideout. This is week 4: Alaaks, the Beast Tamer, an Eliksni pirate obsessed with Cabal War Beasts. It takes place on 90 Antiope in the Themis Cluster; the crew has already been slaughtered by another gang before you arrive. Recommended power: 1570. Destination: Themis Cluster.

Encounter

Use your Skeleton Key, get past the barricade to the treasure room and kill the War Beasts that Alaaks sends; he is invulnerable while they live, and the cycle repeats as you damage him. Kill the War Beasts first, clear adds, then claim the relic.

Rewards

Completing a hideout grants Glimmer, Legendary gear and a relic that is delivered to the artifact table at the H.E.L.M.; relics were exchanged for Repute through the seasonal challenges. The activity is tied to Season of Plunder (2022) and is no longer part of the seasonal rotation.
