History of Player Stakes

Overview

'''Player Stakes''' are optional handicaps set in the Player Stakes section of activity customization in the Portal. They add a restriction to an activity:

• '''Equipment Locked''' keeps your gear fixed for the whole activity.
• '''No HUD''' hides the interface.
• '''Avant-Garde''' allows only New Gear in your loadout.

Availability

TodayInDestiny reports that No HUD can be activated on Grandmaster difficulty or higher. A Bungie forum thread reports that No HUD is unavailable in some Grandmaster and Ultimate activities, such as the Salt Mines, The Coil, Heliostat and Proving Grounds, where a fixed No Radar modifier applies.
