Portable Cabal Shield

The Portable Cabal Shield is a Cabal munition that hovers in place and projects a large energy shield around its central core. Only Cabal munitions can pass through the shield, and the weak core can be destroyed to bring the shield down.

In Battlegrounds, a boss hides behind one of these shields. Each third of the boss's health bar makes it immune to damage, and players must defeat a Shield Bearer to lift that immunity. Later in the fight the boss summons a Portable Cabal Shield and retreats inside, and the shield stays active until it is destroyed or the boss's remaining health is depleted. Portable Cabal Shields also appear in Lightfall missions and other activities.
