History of Preservation (triumph)

Overview

Preservation is a Mission within the The Witch Queen expansion. It is set in the aftermath of the Vow of the Disciple raid, where Queen Mara Sov tasks the Guardian with stopping the Scorn from claiming the vacant Sunken Pyramid and its secrets. The triumph requires progress of 0/5. Completing the mission awards Pinnacle Throne World Gear.

How to complete

The mission becomes available as part of the REPORT: PYRAMID-INSPECT quest from the Evidence Board at the Enclave. Upon starting, the Guardian must traverse the swamp to reach the Sunken Pyramid. This requires gathering Resonant Runes and overflowing the pyramid's vessel with resonant knowledge to cross the Disciple's Bog.

Inside the Acquisition, the Guardian witnesses the aftermath of the raid, including Xita, Mother of the Worm Gods, emitting black smoke. The Guardian must rid the pyramid of the Scorn incursion by eliminating all enemies within. This involves defeating three of the Fanatic's Chosen.

To complete the "Discover Truths" objective, the Guardian must explore the Sunken Pyramid and examine specific memories of Rhulk to uncover truths about his past. Interacting with various objects of interest at the end of the mission and solving the puzzle wall will reward entries for the Shattered Suns lore book.
