Acquisition

There are 21. Eight unlock with Prismatic and campaign progress (Balance, Blessing, Courage, Dawn, Hope, Protection, Purpose, Ruin); the other 13 come from hidden chests, location challenges in The Pale Heart and the "Alone in the Dark" Memory quests. Fragments are account-wide.

Reported counts of starting Fragments differ between guides: some list six starters (Courage, Dawn, Hope, Protection, Purpose, Ruin), with Balance and Blessing as campaign rewards.
