History of Prismatic Fragment

Prismatic Fragments (called Facets) are the customization modifiers for the Prismatic subclass introduced in Destiny 2: The Final Shape, mixing effects from Arc, Solar, Void, Stasis and Strand.

Acquisition

There are 21. TheGamer says eight unlock with Prismatic and campaign progress (Balance, Blessing, Courage, Dawn, Hope, Protection, Purpose, Ruin); the other 13 come from hidden chests, location challenges in The Pale Heart and the "Alone in the Dark" Memory quests. Fragments are account-wide.

Sources disagree

A search summary from another guide says six start unlocked (Courage, Dawn, Hope, Protection, Purpose, Ruin) and Balance and Blessing are campaign rewards. The count of starting Fragments differs by source.
