Psion Commanders

Psion Commanders are Taken enemies that appear in The Sundial, the rotating activity from Season of Dawn on Mercury. They protect the boss Tazaroc, the Sun Eater, a Solar Psion Flayer.

When Tazaroc loses about a third of her health, she calls for Psion Commanders. They shield her from all fire and summon more resilient backup. Her shield comes down once the Commanders are killed, after which she can be damaged again.

The sources for this mechanic date from 2019 and 2020, during Season of Dawn, so later changes to the encounter may not be reflected.
