History of Quagmire

Overview

Quagmire is a region in the Throne World of Savathûn, the Court of Savathûn. It is the primary landing zone and central patrol area of the Throne World and the hub for the Vanguard's operations there, where the defector Fynch runs a Hive Ghost vendor. It was introduced in The Witch Queen.

To the north it connects to Miasma, to the east to Florescent Canal, and to the south to Temple of the Wrathful, which is the raid entrance. Secret passages can be revealed with Deepsight. The region is split between Scorn control in the swamps and Lucent Hive control at the fortress entrances.

Extraction Lost Sector

Extraction is a Lost Sector in the northeast corner along the cliff edge, reached by a Deepsight-revealed cliff path. It is populated by Scorn, and its boss is Hrek'ith, the Glasweard. It features a Lucent Brood revival mechanic.

Activities

Quagmire is a public area with patrol beacons. Its public events are Ether Ritual and Resonant Destruction. The Heroic Patrol "Send a Message" leads to Temple of the Wrathful. Weekly world events include Lucent Hive Inquisitors and Scorn and Lucent Hive fighting each other. High-value targets include a Lightbearer Acolyte, Knight and Wizard, and an Ultra Corrupted Chieftain.
