Redolence

Redolence are shielded Cabal enemies that spawn in each wave of the Scission encounter in the Root of Nightmares raid. Their shield color sets which buff is needed: Light-shielded Redolence, known as Redolence of Splendor, take damage only while the Field of Light buff is active, and Dark-shielded Redolence, known as Redolence of Decay, take damage only while Flux of Darkness is active.

The buffs come from glowing aura nodes that players shoot to refresh them. Plate runners pick up the buffs while chaining the plates, and add clearers stand in the aura when their runner refreshes their buff to kill the Redolence.
