Refit the Extractor

Refit the Extractor is an encounter that occurs only at the Bathypelagic Midnight depth (about 2750 meters) of the Deep Dive. The fireteam plants the Egregore Resonator at Midnight, receives a Darkness Invocation, and then starts this encounter.

Objectives

1. Refit the Extractor's Power Cells (Midnight only): install three power cells.
2. Repair and Reboot the Extractor: complete repairs.
3. Defend the Extractor: hold off enemy incursions.

The Pressure Trial version of the step is Defend the Drill, which requires defeating combatants trying to destroy the drill. After the encounter the fireteam continues to the Abyssopelagic Abyss depth.
