History of Replication Orbs

Overview

Replication Orbs are a mechanic in the Atraks-1 encounter of Deep Stone Crypt, tied to the Descendant triumph.

Handling

Orbs are deposited into airlocks during the encounter. When a holder's timer drops to 15 seconds or less, the Operator refreshes it.

Copies of Copies

The weekly challenge "Copies of Copies" requires defeating Atraks-1 without depositing Replication Orbs into airlocks. Completing it in the wrong week does not grant the triumph. Having all six players damage Atraks-1 with the Lament Exotic sword makes the challenge easier, though it hardly changes the encounter.
