History of Secant Filaments

Secant Filaments are Exotic Warlock leg armor from Destiny 2: The Witch Queen.

Overview

Casting an Empowering Rift with a Void Super equipped grants Devour, and damage from you and allies inside the Rift disrupts combatants. Since January 2025, final blows while Devour is active also grant class-ability energy. Bungie later fixed an issue preventing the Exotic from granting Devour while Facet of Protection was equipped.

Acquisition

• Exotic armor focusing.
• For past-expansion Exotic armor, Master Rahool's Novel Focusing became available without a reputation-track reset on July 15, 2025; check the vendor for current eligibility and requirements. The old Lost Sector and campaign route above was a launch-era acquisition method.
