Simulation: Safeguard

Overview

Simulation: Safeguard is one of the three Exo Challenge activities on Europa introduced with Destiny 2: Beyond Light, run by the Clovis Bray AI. It tests your defense amid a Vex onslaught. It is a replayable Story-type activity with a recommended Power of 1230 at launch. The three simulations (Agility, Survival and Safeguard) rotate weekly.

How to launch

Complete the Born in Darkness quest and the Beyond Light campaign, then travel across Europa toward Bray Exoscience. A Deep Stone Crypt symbol on the left side near it starts the challenge.

Mechanics

You defend two Ziggurat platforms (east and west). When a Vex enemy steps on a platform, the Simulated Ziggurat Stability % drops, and it recovers when the platforms are clear. Keep it above zero through four waves, then defeat the Vex boss that follows (a checkpoint triggers after wave four). Shootable confluxes temporarily stun the Vex. A Heroic version exists.

Rewards

A chest appears at the end, then you return to Europa.
