Sitting Ducks is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to defeat five opponents while holding Zone Advantage before the opposing team recaptures a zone.

How to complete

To complete Sitting Ducks, players must participate in activities that feature zone control mechanics, such as Gambit or Gambit Prime. The specific steps are as follows:

1. Enter a match where zones are contested.
2. Secure and maintain control of a zone to establish Zone Advantage. This is typically indicated by a visual cue or UI element showing the team's dominance over the area.
3. Defeat enemy players while this advantage is active.
4. Repeat the process until five enemy defeats have been recorded under these conditions.
5. Ensure that the zone is not recaptured by the opposing team before the fifth defeat is logged. If the enemy team recaptures the zone, the advantage is lost, and the counter for that specific instance resets or stops contributing until Zone Advantage is regained.

The triumph tracks "Medals earned" as the primary metric for progress. Players must ensure they are credited with the kill while the zone advantage is held. The requirement is strictly tied to the timing of the defeat relative to the zone control status.
