History of Skyburner Catalyst

Overview

Skyburner Catalyst is an Exotic Catalyst record under Energy Weapons. Defeat five hundred Cabal with Skyburner's Oath, the Solar Exotic Scout Rifle.

Acquisition

The catalyst can drop from completed ritual activities, including strikes, Crucible, and Gambit. Its original Leviathan raid drop route retired in November 2020; the playlist route replaced it in Season of the Chosen.

How to complete

Insert the acquired catalyst in the weapon and secure Cabal final blows. A Cabal Lost Sector such as Skydock IV provides repeatable groups of qualifying targets. Clear the enemies, leave to reset the sector, and return for further progress.

Finish the five-hundred-defeat counter and apply the completed upgrade. Other enemy factions do not replace the Cabal condition. The current catalyst adds Incandescent, spreading Scorch from defeated targets to nearby enemies.
