Smuggle

Overview

Smuggle is one of three core Lawless Frontier jobs, alongside Bounty Hunt and Sabotage. Lawless Frontier activities take place on Mars, Venus or Europa, and players choose their destination and objective. Smuggle is a cargo run: the fireteam moves contraband out of the area and must exfiltrate.

Walkthrough

1. Clear four waves of enemies in the area.
2. Excavate resources and turn them into cargo.
3. Carry the cargo to the transport ship.

After delivery the fireteam calls its exfiltration, which draws a large wave of enemies. Carrying cargo by hand is slow; a Bungie developer has noted that cargo can be transported with the Behemoth vehicle, which makes the run much faster.

Rewards

Successful extraction yields lockboxes. Runs also earn Dark Matter Ingots, which are spent at your aligned faction.
