History of Solar

Overview

Solar is one of Destiny 2's three Light damage types, alongside Arc and Void. Solar subclasses use the power of the Sun and include class abilities, grenades, melees, Aspects, and Fragments. Solar weapons deal Solar damage and can interact with shields and combatant mechanics that respond to that element.

Subclasses

Solar subclass kits differ by class. Their verbs include applying Scorch, igniting targets, restoring health with Cure or Restoration, and granting Radiant weapon damage. The available effects depend on the equipped abilities and fragments.
