History of Strafing Run

Strafing Run is one of the base Renegade Abilities from Destiny 2: Renegades (December 2, 2025), alongside Scan and Revitalize. It calls down an airstrike from your ship that damages and applies Scorch to enemies and objects in the target area.

Use

As with all Renegade abilities you press the Renegades button (R3 on controller, Z on keyboard) and throw a token to trigger it. It is a bonus tool for the Lawless Frontier, upgraded with credits via Spider and the syndicates at Tharsis Junction. At upgrade level 4 it gives two charges, increased damage and area, and Multistrike 1. Note: the base-ability list differs by source; verify against in-game.
