Strand Burst

Overview

Strand Burst is a triumph that requires the player to rapidly defeat 5 combatants with Strand damage while Strand surge is active. The triumph tracks the number of medals earned toward this objective.

How to complete

To complete this triumph, the player must engage in combat where Strand damage is being dealt. The following conditions must be met simultaneously for each defeat:

1. The target must be a combatant.
2. The damage dealing the final blow must be of the Strand element.
3. The player must have the Strand surge buff active at the time of the defeat.
4. The defeats must occur rapidly.

The player must accumulate 5 such defeats to earn the required medals and complete the triumph.

Activity and tips

This is a Vanguard scoring Medal, filed under the Vanguard medal category. Earn it during a medal-scored activity. Select an activity with Strand surge active and equip matching damage before starting. Save a group of weaker enemies for the required rapid sequence; kills with another element do not satisfy the stated condition.
