Strand Source

Overview

A Strand Source is a glowing, green, helix-shaped aura that appears in Neomuna for a short time before vanishing and respawning elsewhere. Finding one is partly down to luck. Walk up to it and interact with the "Look Within" prompt to bond with it.

Bonding grants Strand for a limited time, shown as a countdown where buffs and debuffs normally appear, and the Guardian returns to their previous subclass afterward. If the player's subclass is already Strand, the source instead increases regeneration for all abilities. A post-campaign mission in Lightfall requires bonding with Strand sources while defeating enemies.
