History of Sudden Death

Overview

Sudden Death is the overtime rule in Breakthrough. If a team is partway through hacking the enemy Vault when the round timer runs out, the round continues into overtime.

Resolution

The round ends when the hack completes or when the defenders erase all of the attackers' progress.
