History of Sunspot

Overview

A Sunspot is a Solar zone that Titans with the Sol Invictus Aspect can create. Sunspots form when Solar ability final blows, Hammer of Sol impacts and kills on Scorched targets land.

Effects

Standing in a Sunspot makes your abilities regenerate faster and slows the drain of your Super. Entering one applies Restoration, which regenerates health and shields over time without being interrupted by damage, though it cannot keep you alive once health reaches zero. Sunspots also apply Scorch and damage enemies inside them.

Usage

Sunspots are central to Sol Invictus builds, often paired with Roaring Flames. A common approach is to pop a Rally Barricade, stand in a Sunspot and throw Hammer of Sol hammers from it, keeping the Super draining slowly. The Loreley Splendor Helm also references Sunspots.
