Overview

The Surgeon General triumph requires the player to defeat 30 combatants using long-range weapons without dying. The specific weapon categories eligible for this requirement are Scout Rifles, Bows, Sniper Rifles, and Linear Fusion Rifles. Success is tracked via the "Medals earned" objective.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must engage in combat scenarios where they can utilize long-range weaponry. The following steps complete the medal:

1. Equip one of the qualifying weapon types: Scout Rifles, Bows, Sniper Rifles, or Linear Fusion Rifles.
2. Locate and engage enemies (combatants).
3. Defeat 30 enemies using the equipped long-range weapon.
4. Ensure that the player character does not die during the entire process of defeating these 30 combatants. If the player dies, the progress for this specific attempt is lost, and the count must restart from zero.
5. Continue defeating combatants until the total count reaches 30.

The triumph will be awarded once the condition of defeating 30 combatants with the specified weapons without sustaining a fatal blow is met.

This is a Vanguard medal. A primary-ammo Scout Rifle or Bow provides reliable kills without depending on special or heavy ammunition. Fight from cover, recover health when needed, and avoid using abilities for finishing blows during the 30-kill streak.
