History of Synthoceps

Overview

Synthoceps are Exotic Titan gauntlets from Year 1 of Destiny 2. Their perk, Biotic Enhancements, increases melee lunge range (about 50%) and boosts melee and Super damage when you are surrounded (3 or more enemies in PvE, 2 in PvP). Update 7.3.0 reworked the perk to also improve weapon handling and reload speed while surrounded. The lore describes bio-matter that bonds with its wearer.
