History of Tether Time

Overview

Tether Time is a Lake of Shadows Nightfall encounter triumph worth 25 triumph score. Its original objective requires destroying three tether points during the fight with Gor'ath Gath, then completing the strike.

How it was completed

Coordinate with the fireteam before the boss room and avoid immediately killing Gor'ath Gath. Damage the boss enough to begin its tether attack, allow a tether to appear and shoot the tether point to break it. Repeat until three points have been destroyed, then defeat the boss and finish the Nightfall. These are the boss's tethers, rather than Goblin immunity beams. The triumph belongs to the original encounter; the 2023 strike revision replaced that boss with Grask, the Consumed, so the original Gor'ath Gath route no longer applies to the revised fight.
