Purge the European Dead Zone of the Taken and Shadow Legion forces threatening to overtake the Reservoir and poison the precious water it holds.
Overview
Lake of Shadows is a Strike in the European Dead Zone on Earth. It was a PlayStation exclusive (revealed at Sony's E3 2017 press conference) until Forsaken, when it opened to everyone, and it marked the return of the Taken. Launch it from the Vanguard playlist or Customize.
Encounters
The original strike has you stem the tide of Taken, ending with the boss Grask, the Consumed. The Lightfall rework adds Shadow Legion forces trying to contaminate the reservoir; you use captured Pyramid tech on a payload to clear Taken infections, destroy Blights, and fight Gor'ath Gath and Baimogg, Unchained Wrath.
Rewards
The Nightfall version offered The Militia's Birthright; the reworked strike pool lists Aurora Dawn, Nightshade, Cynosure and the Luminopotent armour set.
