History of Tether Time

Overview

Tether Time is a Lake of Shadows Nightfall triumph worth 25 triumph score. Destroy three tether points during the final boss fight, then complete the strike. Its current objective names Gor'ath Gath.

How to complete

Coordinate with the fireteam before entering the boss room. Leave the boss alive long enough for tether points to appear, shoot the points to break the tethers and repeat until three have been destroyed. Then defeat the boss and finish the Nightfall. Killing the boss immediately can prevent the required attacks from occurring. These tether points are separate from Taken Goblin immunity beams. Older completion guides from 2020–2021 show Grask, the Consumed, the boss before the Lightfall strike revision; the revised encounter uses Gor'ath Gath.
