History of The Citadel

Overview

The Citadel is a Crucible map set in The Dreaming City on the Reef, introduced in Destiny 2: Forsaken. It suits 4v4 play and supports Control and Breakthrough; this entry is its Rumble listing.

Design

Home bases were designed as fortresses with perches and windows for defenders and flank routes for attackers; open areas favor snipers, small rooms shotguns.

Availability

It reappeared in Season of the Wish; Destinypedia gives no vaulting date, though other outlets reported it vaulted at Beyond Light and later returned.
