History of The Comedian

Overview

The Comedian is a Legendary Void Shotgun (an Aggressive Frame, special-ammo energy weapon) in Destiny 2. Its description is a string of laughter, and it also existed in Destiny 1. Destinypedia lists its Destiny 2 return in Season of the Lost, while the Destiny 2 Wiki lists Season 15; the sources use different season labels. The curated roll per the Destiny 2 Wiki has Rifled Barrel, Assault Mag, Subsistence and Adrenaline Junkie, and it notes the weapon has high damage with significant recoil.

Acquisition

Dropped from the Nightfall loot pool. The Destiny 2 Wiki states it was removed from the Nightfall loot pool after the start of the Season of the Haunted, so it may not currently drop; check the current rotation. An Adept version exists; both sources say so, but the opened pages do not describe how it is obtained. The standard version is not listed as sunset. Craftable status is not stated.
