The Draw

Overview

"The Draw" is the Exotic quest for the Hand Cannon The Last Word. It is given by the Drifter at the Tower and was released with the Black Armory content in early 2019; it is no longer available, the weapon now coming from the Exotic Archive.

Walkthrough

Some guides count the transition steps differently, giving five or eight steps. The steps below follow the in-game order.

1. The Cleansing: defeat Hive using Solar damage, collect 75 Hive Tablets and defeat three Hive bosses. The Core Terminus Lost Sector on Mars is recommended.
2. A Cleansed Artifact: return to the Drifter.
3. The Temptation: earn 100 Crucible defeats.
4. The Damnation: a special mission on Titan in the Cargo Bay 3 Lost Sector to stop a Hive ritual.
5. A New Jagged Purpose: speak to the Drifter.
6. Sullied Light: collect 15 Etched Crystals from Hive bosses, 50 Hive Larvae (headshot kills), complete three Heroic Hive rituals and earn 25 Crucible medals.
7. Sorrow's Road: return to the Drifter.
8. The Conversation: hunt Enkaar, the Hive weapon master, on the Tangled Shore; charge the Hive platforms and win the quick draw.
