History of The Final Strand

The Final Strand is a seven-step Lightfall Exotic quest that rewards the Final Warning Strand sidearm. To unlock it, complete the Lightfall campaign and buy all available Strand unlocks for one class from the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes (all Aspects, Fragments and grenades). Pick up the quest at the Pouka Pond, then speak to Nimbus in Striders' Gate, Neomuna.

Walkthrough

1. Speak with Nimbus in Striders' Gate.
2. Search for Strand-inoculated gadgets in Veil Containment. Reach it on foot through Zephyr Concourse and Esi Terminal; launching the separate Veil Containment node does not count.
3. Defeat the Shadow Legion looters in the area and collect their orders.
4. Follow the waypoint through the Typhon Imperator in Ahimsa Park and defeat the Tormentor carrying the Veil spectrometer.
5. Return to the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes and inspect the spectrometer.
6. Launch Headlong: Time Trial from the Neomuna map near Radiosonde. Use Strand to grapple through the course, defeat the Vex, and finish within 5 minutes 30 seconds.
7. Return to the Pouka Pond to complete the weapon.
