History of The Form of the Danger

Overview

The Form of the Danger is the Exotic catalyst quest for Delicate Tomb, given by Banshee-44 in the Tower once you own the Fusion Rifle. Added in Season 18 (Season of Plunder). Progress is shared across characters. It takes a few hours.

Walkthrough

1. Defeat 50 targets with Special ammo weapons in the Energy slot and 50 challenging combatants. Champions, minibosses and bosses give extra progress. Lost Sectors and Nightfall starts are good for champions.
2. Generate 200 calibration data and defeat 450 targets with Delicate Tomb. Calibration comes from Ops activities (older: Vanguard Ops, Gambit, Crucible) and Crucible wins add progress.
3. Return to Banshee-44 in the Tower for the calibrated catalyst.

Rewards

• Delicate Tomb Catalyst (Ionic Interment: collecting an Ionic Trace partially reloads the magazine from reserves). It finishes after 700 defeats with the weapon.

Trivia

• Banshee-44 says: "I don't feel good about making it stronger."
