Overview
The Gift of Appreciation is a Legendary side quest from Fynch on Savathun's Throne World, added in Season 16 with The Witch Queen. It becomes available after the campaign and the quest Trust Goes Both Ways. Fynch wants Scorn gear as bait to draw out the Lucent Brood. It takes about an hour.
Walkthrough
- Defeat Scorn in the Miasma to collect 10 Umbral Helmets (they drop fairly regularly).
- Loot all nine region chests (three each in the Quagmire, Miasma and Florescent Canal), often hidden in caves or on rooftops.
- Defeat 100 Lucent Brood and complete a public event in the Florescent Canal; do both together.
- In the Queen's Bailey, place the helmets, defeat the Hive Lightbearers and crush their Ghosts.
- Return to Fynch.
Rewards
- Forensic Nightmare (Legendary Stasis Submachine Gun) with Deepsight Resonance, allowing its pattern to be unlocked for crafting.
