History of The Hermit

The Hermits are groups of Ultra-ranked Taken enemies in The Reckoning, part of the Darkblades encounter. They first appeared in Destiny 2: Season of the Drifter.

They hide in The Haul alongside the Darkblade duo, including Two of Swords, and guard the Pools of Light needed to damage the Darkblades. The variants are Centurion, Ogre, Captain and Wizard, found in Tiers 2 and 3 of The Reckoning.
