The Insight Terminus (triumph)

Overview

The Insight Terminus is a triumph associated with the Warmind expansion. It requires the completion of the Nightfall strike titled "The Insight Terminus" with a great score.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, Guardians must complete the Nightfall strike "The Insight Terminus" and achieve a great score. The strike takes place on Nessus, a Vex machine world. The mission involves intercepting a Cabal expedition led by Kargen, the Technocrat, who is attempting to utilize a Vex replica of the OXA Machine.

The strike narrative begins in The Tangle, where the Guardian is joined by Failsafe. The team proceeds through The Mists, an area where the Vex were active during the Exodus Black. Guardians must defeat Valus Pra'urg, forcing him to retreat, and then locate Kargen attempting to access a Vex conflux in the Vinculum Cell. Kargen retaliates and teleports away.

Guardians must secure a Vex plate to prioritize the elimination of Kargen. Pursuing Kargen leads to the defeat of Bracus Ghir. Guardians then pursue Kargen as he accesses another Vex conflux, but he escapes and blocks his exit. Val Ghuusk appears as Cabal enter through Vex gates; Guardians defeat him and take an Arc charge to the right-most insertion point.

Next, Guardians defeat Val Urgus and take an Arc charge to the left-most insertion point to unlock the way. At the Quiet Epiphany, Guardians witness Kargen unleash void orbs that destroy Vex Minotaurs and a Vex Hydra. Guardians must secure a Vex plate to counter-hack. After securing the plate, Kargen appears and is weakened until he retreats. Three more Vex plates activate and are secured, forcing Kargen to leave the conflux. Finally, Guardians defeat Kargen to complete the strike.
