History of The Inverted Spire (triumph)

Overview

The Inverted Spire is a triumph that requires the completion of the Nightfall strike titled "The Inverted Spire" with a great score. The strike is located on Nessus and was introduced in Destiny 2. The fireteam's objective is to end the Red Legion's mining expedition and find what they discovered under Nessus.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, players must complete the Nightfall strike "The Inverted Spire" and achieve a great score. The strike features two distinct versions with different objectives and enemies.

In the original version, the fireteam investigates the Cabal, defeats all hostiles, and accesses the Conflux. Players must traverse deeper, eliminate the Vex, and press forward toward the drilling site. After eliminating drill site security and drill officers, the team boards the Cabal drill and repels all attackers. The fireteam then crosses the dig site, gets clear of the drill, and investigates the site before defeating the Modular Mind. Enemies include Cabal from the Red Legion, such as War Beast, Psion, Legionary, Blood Guard Legionary, Colossus, Incendior, Blood Guard Incendior, Phalanx, Gladiator, and Centur.

In the reprise version, the fireteam defeats the Vex, hacks the Vex Conflux, and disables Vex Security Measures by destroying lenses and capturing plates. After pressing forward and traversing deeper, the team eliminates more Vex, unlocks the Tanks, and assaults the Drill Site. Players disable further security measures, investigate the Modular Mind, and protect the Ghost while it downloads progress. Finally, the team investigates the drill site and defeats the Modular Mind.
