The Mother Morph

Overview

The Mother Morph awards 12 Triumph score for completing the Test of Cunning in the Imbaru Engine. It belongs to the secrets records of Season of the Witch.

How to complete

1. Originally, progress the seasonal story and claim Gift of Cunning at the Lectern of Divination in the Athenaeum to gain access to the Imbaru Engine.
2. Start the Test of Cunning and inspect the Hive rune beside each chest. Choose the star-shaped rune, resembling an X with a plus sign overlaid on it, rather than the incorrect symbols.
3. In the first group, open the one correct chest. On the elevated platform, open the two correct chests. In the final group, find and open three correct chests to bring the total to six.
4. Follow the symbol's pointing direction when it is offset from a chest. A symbol behind a chest can point to a different chest; do not simply open the nearest container. Chest positions change between attempts, so read the symbols each time.

Availability

Imbaru Engine was removed with Destiny 2: The Final Shape, making the original test unavailable. Its 12-point value is Triumph score rather than Glimmer.
