History of The Nine

Overview

The Nine is a chapter in Dust, the Season of the Drifter lore book about Lavinia Garcia Umr Tawil investigating the Nine. It describes their origins in dark matter and their dependence on living minds.

How to unlock

Originally, scan the eighth golden lore urn in The Reckoning. Launch tier 2 or higher and find the relic just before the Bridge of Folly. Collecting and scanning the relic awarded its lore chapter rather than requiring a raid clear.

The original The Reckoning activity was removed with Destiny 2: Beyond Light, so its collectible acquisition route is retired. The entry remains in the archived lore collection.
