Overview

The Price of a Double-Sided Coin is an entry in A Drifter's Gambit, the Destiny 2: Forsaken lore book containing Shin Malphur's observations of the Drifter. It considers Gambit both a test of Guardians and a trap for the Shadows of Yor.

Originally, progress the book through activity completion and its associated Gambit records. Play matches, complete the relevant mode objectives and claim completed Triumphs to add chapters to the collection. This entry is a lore chapter rather than a separate mission with its own combat objective.

Shin Malphur proposes allowing the Drifter's game to continue while observing who participates and how they behave. He anticipates opposition from Commander Zavala and explains that the game's public reputation is part of the plan to draw dangerous followers of Darkness into view.
