History of Third Iteration Catalyst

Overview

The Third Iteration Catalyst is a Triumph in Destiny 2. The objective requires the player to defeat 700 targets while using the Third Iteration weapon. Precision final blows grant additional progress toward this total.

How to complete

To earn this triumph, the player must equip the Third Iteration weapon. Progress is accumulated by defeating enemy targets. The triumph description specifies that precision final blows provide additional progress, implying that standard defeats contribute to the count at a different rate or that precision hits are required for efficient completion. The player must reach a total of 700 defeated targets to complete the requirement.
