Third Iteration Catalyst

Overview

Third Iteration Catalyst is the Exotic Catalyst completion Triumph for Third Iteration, an Exotic Void Scout Rifle. Its objective requires 700 target-defeat progress, with precision final blows granting additional progress.

How to complete

Obtain the catalyst before starting the upgrade objective. Its original Reclamation Rewards Pass acquisition was at rank 90. The current archive route is the Reclamation section of Monument to Seasons Past, in the Tower Courtyard beside Monument to Lost Lights: purchase it for 100 Chronologs after unlocking the required archived pass. Equip Third Iteration and use it to deliver final blows against combatants; merely carrying the weapon does not complete its kill objective.

Aim down sights to concentrate the weapon's spread into Amalgamation Rounds, then target exposed precision spots. Repeated combatant waves provide a convenient supply of targets. Precision final blows accelerate the objective, so 700 progress does not necessarily require 700 individual kills.

Once the objective is complete, apply the catalyst upgrade on Third Iteration.

Rewards

The completed upgrade adds Aberrant Combustion: precision final blows with Amalgamation Rounds cause a weakening explosion.
