Time Latch

Time Latch missions are short repeatable missions on Kepler in Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate, available after the campaign. Each is a quick, randomly matched encounter that rewards Fated Ciphers and Kepler-pool loot. They are the most reliable way to farm Fated Ciphers, since a run takes only a few minutes and pays out more than the smaller Kepler events, which give about 2 Ciphers each on Legendary difficulty.

Other Kepler sources include the Vex energy pillar event near the Caldera Landing Zone and The Sieve, a post-campaign activity that appears periodically. Edge of Fate mission chests started from Kepler quest terminals give only Fated Ciphers, not random gear.
