History of Toland I

Overview

Toland I is a lore triumph that unlocks a chapter of Martian Missives during The Witch Queen campaign. Its progress counter represents campaign progression, rather than six repetitions of an unspecified activity.

How to complete

Follow the main The Witch Queen campaign quest through its missions and intervening story objectives. Continue the campaign on the same character as its lore entries become available, then claim this record in the Martian Missives lore category. Completing the campaign provides the campaign progression needed for the book; no separate collectible hunt is required.

Lore and reward

The entry presents a message attributed to Toland, the Shattered, encouraging the reader to reconsider Savathûn and the larger struggle. These missives are part of Savathûn's attempt to manipulate the Guardian by impersonating familiar figures. The reward is the lore chapter, with no separate weapon or armor reward.
