Total Gem

Overview

Total Gem is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to achieve a performance grade of A or higher while completing the Haunted Altars of Sorrow activity. The triumph tracks the objective of achieving the specified performance grade. It contributes to the Ghost Writer event seal.

How to complete

To obtain this triumph, the player must participate in the Haunted Altars of Sorrow activity. During the activity, the player must ensure that the team achieves a performance grade of A or higher. The triumph objective is marked as complete once this grade is achieved.

Practical steps

Launch Haunted Altars of Sorrow during Festival of the Lost and complete a run whose final performance grade is A or higher. The ordinary open-world Altars of Sorrow activity does not replace this event version.

Keep enemies away from the defense altar, collect dropped Treats and deposit them to complete waves. Purchase defenses to control the enemy approaches, and continue clearing enemies while teammates collect and bank treats. Coordinate the boss ritual sites: activating the five sites in quick succession forms the ritual and allows Shriekers to remove the boss's shield.

For a strong completion, keep the waves moving and minimize deaths and delays. Finish the boss and allow the results screen to register the grade. A completed run with a grade below A does not fulfill this requirement.
