Tracking Device

Overview

The Tracking Device is a collectible from the Legacy: Beyond Light quest, step 16 of the Beyond Light storyline. Players need 10 of them, dropped by Vex enemies in the Asterion Abyss on Europa.

Acquisition

Focus on Minotaurs, which always drop one. Keep killing Vex in the Asterion Abyss until you have 10.

Use

The devices are used to locate Praksis, the Technocrat. Once you have them, go to Cadmus Ridge and have your Ghost scan the Vex conflux. Defend the Ghost while Vex keep spawning, then destroy the three crystals once they become vulnerable. Shutting down the conflux ends the mission, and The Technocrat Empire Hunt can be started from a nearby flag.
