History of Transmutation

Overview

Transmutation is the intrinsic on Ruinous Effigy, an Exotic Trace Rifle with Void damage. Final blows collapse the victim into a Void Transmutation sphere.

The Evolution trait lets you and your allies pick up those spheres and use them as weapons. Light attacks, heavy attacks and a guard that drains nearby hostiles are all available, which makes the sphere a short-lived companion.

The weapon was introduced in Season of Arrivals and is now sold at the Monument to Lost Lights. Its catalyst adds the Deconstruction trait, which increases damage against targets already hit by Transmutation spheres.
