History of Treasure Key

The Treasure Key is a Legendary Redeemable (stack cap 21) earned by completing a round of Dares of Eternity, where it can drop. It can also come from a Paraversal Haul, or be bought from Starhorse in Xûr's Treasure Hoard for 10 Strange Coins each. It opens the chests in Xûr's Treasure Hoard in Eternity. The white chest can hold one of six weapons, including BxR-55 Battler, Half-Truths, Pardon Our Dust, Retraced Path, The Other Half and Wastelander M5. Golden chests also open with a Treasure Key, but only for players who own the Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack and have reached the required Strange Favor rank with Xûr.
