Overview

Trust and Hope is the closing lore entry in Unveiling, associated with Shadowkeep. It is a letter from Eris Morn to The Guardian, rather than another message from the Unknown Artifact. Eris discusses Mara Sov's view of balance between the Light and Darkness, and urges the Guardian to preserve hope without treating the two powers as morally equivalent.

Unlocking the entry

The book's original acquisition route was to complete Beyond, the final Shadowkeep campaign mission, then return to Eris Morn on the Moon for successive weekly entries. Continue through the book to reach this closing chapter. The record belongs to the lore collection; it does not describe a separate combat challenge or award a weapon.

Current availability

Since Beyond Light launched on 10 November 2020, lore from Season of Arrivals and earlier has been freely readable in the lore library. Historical page-earned totals were preserved separately; reading this chapter does not earn a missing legacy completion.
