History of Truthteller

Overview

Truthteller is a Legendary Void Grenade Launcher with a Lightweight Frame in the Energy weapon slot. Its flavor text quotes Arach Jalaal: "If we wish others to accept the grim reality, we must break through every comforting illusion." Destinypedia says it first appeared in Season of Arrivals and returned in Episode: Echoes; Destiny 2 Wiki describes the version it lists as the Season 24 reissue, with a curated roll of Concussion Grenades, Enlightened Action, Threat Detector and a Field-Tested origin trait.

Older sources describe the earlier version differently. Destinypedia lists Quickdraw and Black Powder/Concussion options on its page. A Shacknews guide for the earlier version recommended Quick Launch, Spike Grenades, Feeding Frenzy and Multikill Clip for PvE and Quick Launch, High-Velocity Rounds, Auto-Loading Holster and Quickdraw for PvP. Shacknews and the guide below predate the reissue and may be out of date.
